Cooking with the girls...easy cakes
There's nothing I like best than cooking easy cakes. So, what could be easier than a no bake cake...a cheesecake.
And knowing that I had creme fraiche in the fridge and armed with several recipes, tonight the girls and I set to making.

We bashed some biscuits, mixed creme fraiche and philly, pureed some raspberries...and voila
Not the swirly cheesecake pattern it was meant to be but the girls renamed a Bloody Halloween cake.
If you want to make it, you could always try a Ella's Kitchen recipe (they managed the swirly pattern, which does look like a spider web). A great recipe for a Halloween party.
The recipes shown above are from Ella's Kitchen Cook Book (the Red one) and encourages kids to get hands on and help with the cooking. The cook book can currently be found on Amazon for £7
