Time for a new bed?
Car is now no longer a toddler yet bless her she is still in the same toddler bed that Bel had and in the same bed that we got given by a friend whose son had outgrown it. The bed is possibly on its last legs as we are aware that we cannot all sit on it at the same time at story time. You will find me perched on the edge,hoping it doesn't break!
So, I think its time for a new bed. They're a great range of metal and wooden beds from TJ Hughes
including the pink one above for £49.99 (mattress not included). Lovely for a little girl who loves her pink but maybe not as good for when she gets older.
The other thing I know we need is some new duvet covers. Bel has outgrown the kiddie ones we have and we need to take her shopping for grown up sets and also sets that are not pink! The non girlie girl would prefer older duvet sets and their always so expensive. Luckily I found some useful 'bed in a bag' sets which include duvet cover and pillow case, are not childish and may just suit my eldest.I love the set below for £14.99 and with a bit of a sparkle to make it semi girly.
