Eating more fruit
My girls are big and strong and healthy but there is one thing I wish Car would do more of and that's eat more fruit.
She will drink fruit juice and eat apples but that is it. No other fruit will pass her lips unless you count strawberry flavoured youghurt!!!
So when Ella's Kitchen got in touch and asked if the girls wanted to try their big festive red one I thought it would be a good way of getting more fruit into her!!
Now although Ella's Kitchen primarily do great organic food for weaning babies- Bel has eaten their smoothies before when she was on lunchboxes in school - it was easier to put smoothied fruit in than the apple which would get battered and left uneaten.
And the result....
Bel loved the Red one and then had to eat the other one as well due to Car being a pain in the ass - shouting yucky and no! But this may have something to do with the banana's in the smoothie which she won't eat.
Back to the drawing board then with her......
But if you have a child like Bel who will eat fruit 24/7 if you let them then another fun of way of getting them to eat their fruit (in a lunchbox or as an after school snack) is the Red one and others from the Ella's Kitchen smoothie fruit range.
BNM
We were sent the Red One to review over the festive period and all opinions given are mine, Car and Bel's although I will apologise for Car's yucky behaviour
