Music for Kids: Review and Giveaway

I think one of the first instruments I learnt to play was the recorder. An easy instrument to learn and one which gave me many hours of happiness - though I don't know if my dad would agree, although I think he preferred it to my violin screeches.

Now, Bel has recently started having lessons in school on the recorder and loves it but I wished she had started earlier on it. Having then bought her a recorder it's hard to watch Car as she plays on it.

Luckily then that I was asked to review the Music For Kids Recorder Set

The recorders come in two different styles:

A Princess themed set for little  girls

and a pirate themed set for little boys:

When Car got her set (the Princess one) she was ever so excited - the stickers have been stuck everywhere, on her recorder, on her bed, on me!! She absolutely loves playing and having the book means that she can now teach! Bel

The box contains:

High quality three piece coloured descant recorder

Recorder cleaning rod and carry bag with drawstring

Themed fingering chart with handy ‘Starting to Play’ tips

60 peelable themed stickers with which to decorate the recorder and music

Easy to understand ‘Starting to Play…’ tutor book and CD to begin playing straight away.

The recorder set is a great way to get younger children interested in learning music and hope that by Christmas maybe I'll rent the kids out as duetting recorder players!

The Recorder sets retail at £9.99 but I have one set (either Princess or Pirate) to giveaway all you have to do is follow the Rafflecopter instructions below (if your reading this on a mobile device/Reader then you will have to click through!!)

  1. On the recorder, probably London's Burning. I miss my recorder, Squeaky would probably live up to her nickname slightly more than is comfortable if I won. :-/
