Weekend watching - Cloudy 2
When its not sunny outside and we're not all enjoying the sun, we love to snuggle up together, put popcorn in the microwave and watch a film
The kids love all kind of films so recently we sat down to watch Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.
Now we had thought of seeing this in the cinema in 3D as the trailers had looked fantastic but as usual lack of money got in the way.
So, a couple of weekends we sat down with a bowl of popcorn each and put on the DVD.
The film is about the inventor Flint Lockwood who had thought he saved the world when he destroyed his most infamous invention -- a machine that turned water into food causing cheeseburger rain and spaghetti tornadoes (watch Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 1). But Flint soon learns that his invention survived and is now creating food-animals - "foodimals!" Flint and his friends embark on a dangerously delicious mission for Live Corp to find his invention.
We loved the foodimals and the storyline of the films.
My favourite foodimal was the Butter Frog:

Just like the first film, it is fantastically executed and had plenty of jokes in it for both adults and children.
A definite film to have in your collection for rainy holidays
