Toys!

Well Christmas is now only 58 days away and I know that my attention (and probably yours) is turning to Toys!

Luckily for me then that whilst browsing the BBC news site this morning (yes I'm a sad person!!) I noticed that the Toy Retailers Association have released their list of the top toys for Christmas.

So is there something on there that the girls might want - well it seems that toys based on tv programmes/ animations and films will be popular again this year. Buzz Lightyear is on the list so it seems that toy story toys will be a big hit.

The list also shows that some toys have stood the test of time, as the Sylvanian Families are now back in the chart after last appearing there in the 80s.

So what will I be getting for our two - I think that the way to go is bikes. Bel has been going on about a bike for ages and now Car says she wants one too but I think she's a bit small - even though I have seen those balance bikes which look fantastic!

I hope you've done more of your shopping for Christmas than I have - ah well I still have some time left!!

  1. I have bought exactly one gift so far. I need to get started - but to be honest I'm just not feeling it yet. I have a feeling it's going to be a last minute mad dash.

  3. As I packed the hse up I was quite surprised with what I already had. The boys stockings r done, Little Miss M's (SG's little one) is done and Jude's main present but that's it. As DH, best friend x 2, mum, sister in law, DH best friend, Isaac and a no of his friends all have bdays in Dec I am normally a lot more organised. Might have to make use of t'internet shopping!

  6. We just got Nino a bike and he's loving it. Unfortunately he still can't ride without the training wheels and is getting a little bit nervous about that. He is such a worrier. I'm sure with time he will be able to do it. Do you have a nice place to practice riding with your kids? Our street a little too busy so we have to practice in the park. If you do get the girls bikes, I wanna see pics!
