The Dummy Elf

I've spoken before about how Car and her dummy are unseperable. It's a bit like this week's comic from The Monkey and The Mouse in our house.

But we have now managed to get it down to only at bedtime and soon we need to get it down to never. We were meant to be doing a star chart but Mummy forgot and Car decided to make it harder by screaming and am sure hoarding them!

So, this morning in a Mummy magic moment (cuddles in bed with Car), I thought up the idea of The Dummy Elf. The Dummy Elf is one of Santa's little helpers who comes and gathers up all the old dummies and takes them away to the new born babies in the world. Car was enthralled by this idea and with 8 weeks until Christmas Day I am hoping to enforce the idea.

Here's hoping anyway
