Happy New Year

Well that's it then. That's another year done in a few hours.

I hope you all are enjoying yourselves.

Here we are having a quiet night in, the fizz is chilling, the chilli chicken is marinading, the naan bread is rising (hopefully) and the girls (who are currently arguing will hopefully sleep!!)

Its so different from the New Year's Eve's of my youth - when I used to go out dressed up to the nines (in fancy dress!) and hit a local seaside town. Alcohol and men were consumed, and we laughed silly. Luckily I don't think that photos of me in those times still exist (now I say that and Wi and Wa will get them out!)

I was going to do a list of the popular posts of the year, but hey I'm being called to get playdoh out of the dog*
