Belated another year older
I was another year older last week and I forgot to write anything (duh!) but as the drought in Eastern Africa is currently on my mind I thought I'd post this.
It was the summer of 1985, a day before my birthday, a Saturday. I was turning 9 the day after! And what a party I had - BBQ in full swing, speakers out on the lawn and why well because this was on:
It is sad to think that 26 years on and the state of affairs in Africa hasn't changed and that some parts of the country are still suffering from drought and malnutrition. Remember to help those in need and donate to UNICEF's East Africa Children's Crisis Appeal
