I recently reviewed the new and improved Thomas the Tank engine episodes, here, which can now be seen on Milkshake on 5 in the mornings ( I have to Sky plus them for Car!!).
But there is even better news, if you live down Sarf - and close to London ( i.e not in the backwaters of beyond like me) you can visit Thomas and Friends when they celebrate their 65th anniversary in style at everyone's favourite toy store, Hamleys!
So if you are free on Sunday 7th March from 12pm onwards, then visit Hamleys in Regent Street London for a free afternoon (YES a free afternoon!) of storytelling, competitions and Thomas & Friends screenings. Not only that but you could meet the Fat Controller ( we will be very jealous here if you do!) and make your own Fat Controller hat.
As well as seeing Thomas & Friends, you could help them break a record as with the help of world renowned cake maker Jane Asher (National Autistic Society patron) they are hoping to make the world's longest Thomas Train cake. So if you are going along, take a carriage cake with you (instructions here) and join in the challenge.
So if you live in or near London town, then go and join in the fun with Thomas & Friends, go on you know you want to, go on, please go and take some pics as I can't take Car and Bel.

ReplyDeleteBeen meaning to post na commnet on here since you posted this, thanks for the info on this, tomorrow myself, DH and 2 little boys will be going into London to meet the Fat Controller and if I have time possibly contirbute to the worlds longest Thomas cake. I will take many photos and link back to this blog and let you know how it went. I am really looking forwards to it and wouldnt of known about it if you ahdnt of posted this. If we see a little something for Car and Bel we will send it to them as a way to thanks to their fab mummy xx
