Presents galore!

So Christmas has been and gone. the dust has settled on the presents not played with and then Car had her birthday. So even more presents were bought and then played with.

And the lowdown, the what you should get a 4 yo.
Well firstly the big present from us which she loves (it may have something to do with the water element)

  Playmobil as ever a hit in our house. I gave up on building it and let Neb do that after the annoyance at Christmas when it took me 10mins to realise the flower that wouldn't stay on was actually upside down - damn picture instructions!

Then we also got a David Melling book - we love him in our house  (Bel is working through the goblins series) and we have nearly got all the picture books. Neb read this to the girls last week and made a song out of the two by two and a half. A definite must get book!

The other presents she got were clothes, hat, scarf, and more playdoh. We love Playdoh in our house and it is the best.

Bel got her a Scooby Doo car, goo and figure in goo which was possibly one of the funniest presents ever as Neb showed them they could stick their fingers in the goo and make farty noises!

Then Car got a present that she thinks is LUSH LUSH but half of it is in the hoover and I tell you now as a parent don't get this as a present or buy it for your child. It goes everywhere and as described by my husband it feels like the gel inside nappies when they are wet. Moon Dough - the dough that never dries is a pain. It is everywhere (mostly under the table!)

So presents are still being played with and all is fun in our house! Bel's birthday next month so will let you have the lowdown on what to and not to buy for a 8 year old!
