I have never.....

There is a game that we used to play as a drinking/dare game... I have never. It would always lead to some embarrassing moments and drunken escapades being owned up to and if you had done the thing then you would drink some alcohol.. My head hurts even  thinking of it.

There are many things I have never done and therefore will never need to drink for but hands up I admit there is one thing that I probably would be the only one who has never done it. So get your drinks (tea/wine/cider .. you decide) and here goes ... I have never been on a plane.

Yes, you did hear that right - the furthest I've been on holiday is to Southern Italy when I was 17 (school trip) and that was all buses and ferries. I had never been on a train until I went to uni.

See am officially a country bumpkin - especially noticed today whilst having coffee with work colleague who was trying to explain how she got her watch on the plane and as I looked at her in an odd way went:

"You've never been on a plane have you"......

BNM ( sad, odd , me!!!)

  1. Wow - I guess that must be pretty unusual in this day and age. Am actually quite impressed - your carbon footprint must be minuscule!

  2. I don't think that is too unusual; particularly since where you live you can get to many other countries without the necessity of flying. But I am confused - just how difficult is it to bring your watch onto a plane? I just wear mine and have never had an issue....

  3. I am surprised, but like Gigi said, it is possible to get to a lot of places without going on a plane these days, I just never thought of it :) Jen

  4. OH god, I have never, my mind cant compute those memories right now. My first time on a plane was age 14 to france with school and I have never been on a plane with my parents or brother, but then i did grow up in the grim North, flat caps, poor, no electric, outside toilet, working down the pit at the age of 5, etc etc,

  5. I think it's okay as long as you have been out of the country - and Italy counts. :-)

  6. I haven't been on a plane since I was 6, so I don't really know anything about the whole 'procedure' so to speak either, so you're not alone! lol :)

  7. Oh my goodness, we used to play that same drinking game, except we called it Never never. Can you believe, we were all spilling our dirty secrets all over the world!!!
